BMX interests boys

A Walton School teacher rewarded her class for their recent good work by letting the boys build a BMX jump.

However, some students chose to cook or get crafty instead on the ‘interest afternoon’, Walton School teacher Anna Kurth said.

The BMX jump was built in the school paddock with the help student’s dad’s tractor.

Students had to get their parents to sign a permission slip that said they were aware of the dangers of using the BMX track, but all the parents were happy with that, which is the result of the school being in the midst of a farming community, she said.
