Matamata’s Mens Shed will hold its first open day in its new premises this Saturday. The non-profit group provides an outlet for retired men to use their lifetime of skills in the area of woodwork and metalwork. There will be wood turning demonstrations throughout the day and a fundraising sausage sizzle and refreshments will be available, which will run from 10am-2pm.
