Seeking help

Whilst I applaud your newspaper for running an article about suicide awareness on the front page, I feel the need to point out something is missing.

In your article, the organisers of the recent event, Lifebuoy, encourage anyone feeling suicidal to get in touch with them for help. This sounds like a valuable service, but where is the number? There is no contact information either in the article, or anywhere else throughout the paper. Please, make it as easy as possible for people who may need help, to access it. I hope the next paper will include any and all phone numbers, email addresses and websites related to people and organisations mentioned in the article. I hope this information will also be added to your website, Facebook, etc. Put it everywhere. It’s great to know there are local people ready to offer help to those in their darkest times – please, help make sure they can be found by the ones that need them.
