All BNZ stores will once again be ‘‘Closed for Good’’ with more than 3200 staff helping on more than 530 community projects around New Zealand.

In Matamata, staff will be busy painting and working on maintenance at the Hinuera Rugby and Sports Club today. Across the Waikato the are 36 ‘‘Closed for Good’’ projects.

BNZ CEO Anthony Healy said he was delighted with the projects coming through, especially those in the Waikato.

‘‘Community organisations provide vital services in their local area and they’re always stretched for resources. This is a small way we can leverage the scale of BNZ to help, whether it be by getting stuck in to maintenance or gardening or providing business guidance.’’
