Saturday, April 8, scramble winner was Arlene Joe 35, followed by Paulene Coleman 34 and Pam Wright 33. Tuesday, April 11, scramble winner was Kath Taverner with 33 stablefords. Competition for the week was Nancy McCormack Foursomes. Winners were Brenda Hull and Cali Gomaz.

Our 9-hole ladies played a Two Ball Best Ball competition. Winners were Nicky Telford and Jan Mullane with 47 points. The stableford winner was Barbara Barnett with 26 points. Continuing in great form, Barbara Hodgkinson won the Nada Burke 27-Hole Nett competition, with 109. Followed by Agnes Kim 110 and Sandra Pemberton 110.5.

Winner of the Ring Cup Matchplay competition was a new player to our club, Anne Bates. Despite all the Easter rain the course recovered well for play on Tuesday 18. Daphne Lugton was in a class of her own to be today’s winner with 41 stablefords (67 nett). Best of the others were: Lynn Ryan 34. Tina Berg 33. Maria Walsh 32. Pam Wright 32 and Jane Wilson 31. O’Del’Emz voucher winner was Marg Hales. Best 9 holes scores were: Nancy Payze, 20, and Joyce Stocker 19.
