MiNDFOOD (New Zealand)

LETTER OF THE MONTH

- Carolyn

MiNDFOOD is our favourite magazine. After being given a copy after the Christchurch earthquakes I started buying it. Last year, my daughter-in- law gave me a subscription for my birthday. I think it is one of my best gifts ever! It is now ‘our’ family magazine and lives on the kitchen table. We are a four-generation family. My husband and I read the articles and love the puzzle pages. One daughter (in Essential Services at the moment) always pulls it to her when she pops in for a cuppa. The articles and crosswords are her thing. Granddaughter loves it and always spends time reading it. And our great-grandchildren (pictured above) always ask for it so they can do the colouring in. We all do some of this too. Then when the next month’s issue arrives, we send the previous month’s down to another daughter who lives in Otago. It is very much appreciated by us all.
