School might have been closed for children across the United Kingdom, but Attenborough was quick to join a host of well-known faces help schoolchildren learn during these unprecedented times. In late April, BBC launched Bitesize Daily – the network’s biggest educational offering in its almost 100-year history. BBC collaborated with teachers and education specialists to create a 14-week curriculum for kids in the UK, put together in just four weeks. Kids are able to tune in as Attenborough teaches them about geography, oceans, mapping the world and why animals look the way they do.
