ROVING VIOLINIST BRINGS JOY TO STREETS OF NEW ORLEANS

Creating a little joy on the streets of New Orleans, violinist Anna Roznowska has brought live music to the doors of residents. The French Quarter street violinist was joined by pedicab operator Sarah Grant to take her show on the road with their ‘Mobile Music Box’.

For a city that thrives on live music, lockdown restrictions have left the streets of New Orleans eerily quiet. The sounds of roving melodies have helped lift spirits during a difficult time, say residents. “It’s amazing and uplifting and, you know, live music is what we miss most right now. It brings everyone out and makes everyone feel like it’s a beautiful day,” said one resident.
