While Lamm says it’s “unfortunate” she hasn’t been able to have visitors to her retirement village, she likens it to having family members who live abroad. “If you have your family living overseas you don’t see them anyway, you just have the telephone,” she says. Lamm is grateful for the measures Rawhiti Estate has put in place to keep its residents safe. “I must say I think here in Rawhiti they have followed all the rules to the letter and have done extremely well in this preventative side.”
