THIS MONTH’S WINNING POEM
Here at MiNDFOOD, we have received many poems on the theme of living under lockdown. It has been wonderful to see so many of you creatively inspired and your poems will ensure our community never forgets the shared challenges of living through a pandemic . Jo Silvey’s memorable poem, ‘Modern Plague’, creates a vivid image of a silent world inhabited by anthropomorphised teddy bears and swings, and “repelling magnets” of people robbed of freedom who await the resumption of normal life.
