Ebbetts backs car show

-

The Hamilton Holden Car Show is happening again for the fourth year on Saturday March 15. The Holden Special Vehicles Club, in association with Ebbetts, is hosting this now annual event at Ebbetts, Anglesea Street, Hamilton.

There will be live music by “Red Rock n Blue”, as well as a V8 Supercar simulator, sausage sizzle, and there are many category awards up for grabs including “People’s Choice”, and of course some spectacular cars on display, including race cars. The show will commence at 10am running through until 2pm.

All proceeds from the car show are going to the Holden Special Vehicles Club charity, the Bruce Tronell Motorsport for Life Trust. The funds raised from this car show in the past have helped terminally ill children to get to Disneyland through Koru Care, to realise the dream of a lifetime.

As an addition to the weekend this year there will be a Jason Richards Memorial Cruise on Sunday March16, with all donations on the day going towards the Jason Richards Education Trust set up to help with the schooling of Jason’s two girls, Sienna and Olivia.

The cruise will start in Hamilton from Ebbetts and head to Pukekohe Park Raceway with some laps of the track behind the pace car, with a sausage sizzle plus raffles. Everyone is welcome.

Space is limited for the car show so if you have an outstanding special Holden vehicle hidden away somewhere or know someone who does and want to be part of this awesome event please contact Peter Sinclair on 021 612 185 or email donna.sinclair@xtra.co.nz or check out www.hsvc.co.nz.
