Leaf springs have a tendency to squeak and grind with friction, making for a noisy and uncomfortable ride, and increasing the possibility of leaf wear during flex. While there are examples of rubber or polyurethane pads on the market aiming to combat these problems, they can end up being both costly and ineffective, often made from materials that result in splitting or premature wear.

Terrain Tamer’s in-built antifriction pads are, however, hard wearing and durable, stopping leafs from rubbing together, reducing noise and working to provide a more comfortable ride.

Placed between each of the leafs, and on either side of the spring, the anti-friction pads in Terrain Tamer’s Leaf Springs are made from an ultra-highmolecular-weight polyethylene, to deliver a long lasting, easy and effective solution to common leaf spring issues.
