New 3D Hunter Is a price buster

-

A super-fast Hunter 3D wheel aligner bristling with advanced features has been introduced to New Zealand at an exceptional price that will knock your socks off.

The all-new Hunter ProAlign PA200 is the answer to a workshop owners’ dreams, offering alignment decisions in just minutes using the latest technology, for just $18,995 + GST, including delivery, installation, and training.

The American-made PA200 replaces the highly successful Hawkeye PA100, which has been one of the most popular wheel aligners in New Zealand for the past seven years.

A combination of performance, features and competitive pricing is expected to drive even more interest in the PA200, according to William Singleton, general manager of Hunter’s New Zealand agent, Stocks Equipment.

“You wouldn’t expect to see a wheel aligner of this quality below $20,000, but we have worked with Hunter to deliver a great deal for our customers, including the renowned Stocks Equipment service and backup,” says William.

“It’s made possible because we are dealing with the world’s number one wheel alignment manufacturer and we, in turn, are the leaders in the New Zealand market.”

The PA200 employs HawkEye digital imaging technology that speeds up the alignment process to just a matter of minutes and makes it easier and more efficient for workshops and tyre stores to increase their turnover.

Digital cameras measure the position and orientation of the wheels with pinpoint accuracy using new reflective targets that are smaller and lighter than before, with no calibration required. And the self-centring clamps easily handle wheels from 10 to 24.5 inches with optional extensions to 28 inch available.

William says the reflective targets require virtually no maintenance over the life of the aligner and with no electronics at the wheel and no cables or batteries, along with more efficient operation, it means that long-term maintenance and running costs will be much lower than conventional wheel aligners. And there’s no possibility of downtime due to dropping the targets.

The new Hunter PA200 is not only fast, it’s also highly accurate and the versatility of the movable cameras means that alignments can be carried out on the floor or at any height.

The PA200 operates a Linux system and uses a cartridge for the vehicle specs, which feature the same extensive range of vehicles as more advanced Hunter aligners, including all the latest models and vehicles specs dating back over 50 years including the British and American classics. The system includes more than 500 adjustment illustrations, diagrams and instructional information of recommended Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) adjustment methods.

The PA200 is upgradeable to Windows, which provides an opportunity for workshops and tyre retailers to convert to the top of the range Hunter Elite specification in the future.

As with all Hunter equipment, the new PA200 is covered by a full three- year parts and labour warranty.
