Ryco releases new filter app

The new Ryco Filters app has debuted in kiwi app stores with an impressive range of features that have been developed on the back of comprehens­ive customer feedback on the previous platform in Australia, and attention to detail in the reengineer­ing process.

The new app for Android and iOS was designed with heavy focus on the back end technology that collates and serves the data straight from the Ryco system delivering the complete NZ Ryco catalogue into mechanics hands. With this attentiven­ess to customer feedback Ryco have delivered a comprehens­ive core product with hidden smarts to help users get fast and accurate results.

“We really concentrat­ed on the user experience”, said marketing communicat­ions manager, Melissa Simpson. “We’ve gone the extra mile to ensure that the app delivers more functional­ity for our customers.” Features such as live daily updates which, virtually invisible to the end user it means the most up to date info possible, a swiping feature to toggle between screens, refined segmented search options, and an alpha key pad to select a model to quicken the button and handy for users who struggle with key pads on phones in general.

Got a question? Users are able to ask questions or enquiries via live ‘Webchat’ (a live messaging window) directly with the customer service team from 10am to 4pm weekdays, once again highlighti­ng Ryco’s uncompromi­sing commitment to customer service. “This feature has been successful­ly been trialed on the Ryco website with customers loving the quick and interactiv­e format,” says Melissa.

This personalis­ed version of the app also allows the user to log in, create an account and begin saving favourite searches, part numbers or cross references which is great for busy mechanics.

“We’re really excited to release this product,” said Melissa, “because it’s one that meets with the expectatio­n that our filter fans have of Ryco – a quality product that enhances their work.”

The new range of features are extensive to say the least, however Melissa was already looking to the future and what could come next for the app.“

We have so many more additional features to deploy and we can’t wait to get the next update to bring more quick and easy ways to interact with Ryco,” said Melissa. “For now it was important to get the new app out so our customers can start enjoying another quality Ryco Filters product!”
