Ryco re­leases new fil­ter app

The new Ryco Fil­ters app has de­buted in kiwi app stores with an im­pres­sive range of fea­tures that have been de­vel­oped on the back of com­pre­hen­sive cus­tomer feed­back on the pre­vi­ous plat­form in Aus­tralia, and at­ten­tion to de­tail in the reengi­neer­ing process.

The new app for An­droid and iOS was de­signed with heavy fo­cus on the back end technology that col­lates and serves the data straight from the Ryco sys­tem de­liv­er­ing the com­plete NZ Ryco cat­a­logue into me­chan­ics hands. With this at­ten­tive­ness to cus­tomer feed­back Ryco have de­liv­ered a com­pre­hen­sive core prod­uct with hid­den smarts to help users get fast and ac­cu­rate re­sults.

“We re­ally con­cen­trated on the user ex­pe­ri­ence”, said mar­ket­ing com­mu­ni­ca­tions man­ager, Melissa Simp­son. “We’ve gone the ex­tra mile to en­sure that the app de­liv­ers more func­tion­al­ity for our cus­tomers.” Fea­tures such as live daily up­dates which, vir­tu­ally in­vis­i­ble to the end user it means the most up to date info pos­si­ble, a swip­ing fea­ture to tog­gle be­tween screens, re­fined seg­mented search op­tions, and an al­pha key pad to se­lect a model to quicken the but­ton and handy for users who strug­gle with key pads on phones in gen­eral.

Got a ques­tion? Users are able to ask ques­tions or en­quiries via live ‘We­bchat’ (a live mes­sag­ing win­dow) di­rectly with the cus­tomer ser­vice team from 10am to 4pm week­days, once again high­light­ing Ryco’s un­com­pro­mis­ing com­mit­ment to cus­tomer ser­vice. “This fea­ture has been suc­cess­fully been tri­aled on the Ryco web­site with cus­tomers lov­ing the quick and in­ter­ac­tive for­mat,” says Melissa.

This per­son­alised ver­sion of the app also al­lows the user to log in, cre­ate an ac­count and be­gin sav­ing favourite searches, part num­bers or cross ref­er­ences which is great for busy me­chan­ics.

“We’re re­ally ex­cited to re­lease this prod­uct,” said Melissa, “be­cause it’s one that meets with the ex­pec­ta­tion that our fil­ter fans have of Ryco – a qual­ity prod­uct that en­hances their work.”

The new range of fea­tures are ex­ten­sive to say the least, how­ever Melissa was al­ready look­ing to the fu­ture and what could come next for the app.“

We have so many more ad­di­tional fea­tures to de­ploy and we can’t wait to get the next up­date to bring more quick and easy ways to in­ter­act with Ryco,” said Melissa. “For now it was im­por­tant to get the new app out so our cus­tomers can start en­joy­ing another qual­ity Ryco Fil­ters prod­uct!”
