As a younger motoring journalist I attended most of the major motor shows around the world – the exception being Detroit – but my favourite was undoubtedly Geneva. Much more compact than other majors such as Frankfurt, Paris and Tokyo (although these held their own charms) Geneva at the same time packed a lot into its halls, car manufacturers rightly realising that this was a place the rich and famous would go to spend their money.

This year there have been a number of major launches, and some of them have already been covered elsewhere in the magazine. However, we decided to let you have a look at some other of the more interesting concepts and readyfor-production models.
