TRAILLITE GROUP
One of the most hotly followed aspects of the Covi Supershow is the No Reserve Auction. This year saw a Benimar Tessoro 494 from Traillite up for auction, giving one lucky bidder the opportunity to secure this beautiful Spanish-built motorhome at a sharp price. Of course, there is always the element of the unknown with a No Reserve Auction, but the event was professionally run, with crowds flocking to the main Auckland Showgrounds courtyard to watch the bidding action.
The Tessoro 494 is Benimar’s version of the island bed model with a drop-down bed over the lounge allowing room for four. The bathroom is in the centre of the motorhome, for easy access and the external garage runs the width of the motorhome underneath the main bed in the rear. The Ford Transit 125kw/390nm, 2.0L, 6-speed auto can be driven on a car licence and includes an additional 180W solar panel to the inclusive 150W solar panel. After a careful start, the auction quickly picked up and the eventual winners secured their lovely new motorhome for the bargain price of $180,000 (retail value is $219,500 including the additional solar panels).
Traillite also showcased its new 2024 floorplans and shared advice around buying the right vehicle in a daily seminar held in the
Traillite Group Seminar Room.
