Yellow roadshow

New Zealand business Yellow is bringing its free education and networking roadshow to Nelson on next Thursday. The event, called The Biz, is the second in its series after attracting 2500 business owners from around New Zealand in 2013. A survey, conducted by Yellow, showed Nelson Marlborough and Tasman businesses were struggling to find the time and money to develop core business skills, such as marketing. ‘‘We’re covering topics such as marketing, digital marketing, IT and recruiting good staff, with help from companies such as Google and Microsoft,’’ said Yellow chief executive Michael Boersen.The event will be held at the Rutherford Hotel in Nelson from 4pm to 7.30pm.
