A Picton woman who helped murder her mother-in-law with an axe has had her sentence replaced with a lesser sentence. Janelle Holl, 28, was sentenced to a minimum of 13 years and six months’ in prison for her part in the murder of Robyn Grace in Picton in January 2013. The Court of Appeal yesterday quashed the sentence and replaced it with a minimum sentence of 12 years, saying the minimum period imposed ‘‘was plainly excessive’’.
