D Stephens must have written two letters and I missed one. The one I read was a barely concealed vindictive attack on Mr Male that offered no new details and seemed to imply the Nelson Suburban Club financial disaster was somehow all his fault.

All 10 people I know that joined Grey Power did it for precisely that, cheap grey power. None had any interest in your petty squabble, had no plan to get involved in it and couldn’t understand the fuss. This would seem to apply to 8750 other members as well. All you have done is confirmed that old people are just grumpy nasty old people.
