Lost twice in two days
An elderly Wellington woman who can barely speak English has been reported missing for the second time in two days.
Police found Kebai Liu, 76, on Oriental Parade about 11.50pm on Thursday after she was reported missing that morning.
She was then returned to her family home in the Wellington suburb of Woodridge.
But police said on Friday night that her family had discovered her missing again.
Her relatives thought she must have left home sometime after 2.30am on Friday, a police spokesperson said.
‘‘Kebai is Chinese and speaks very little English.
‘‘She is likely to be wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.’’
She could be on foot, but might try to use public transport, police said. — Fairfax NZ
