Fluoride propaganda

The Government is poised to pass an act preventing local authorities acting on important local opinion and valid science-based concerns about fluoride in drinking water.

Pro-fluoride lobbyists claim that centralised legislation making fluoridation of drinking water compulsory is needed but this is propaganda and/or ignorance. Leading European countries do not add fluoride, or have removed fluoride from water for good reasons. Our acceptance of fluoride is largely due to complacency through historical usage, not scientific proof that fluoride is good for us.

Fluoride has never been proven to be safe in the same way that would be required if we were to use if for the first time today. Why not? Because pro-fluoride lobbyists lack the necessary supporting health and safety information that is normally required in these situations. Pro-fluoride lobbyists
