Ditch draws: Lara

-

Former West Indies batsman Brian Lara says having a winner in every cricket test could arrest dwindling crowd numbers. The 47-year-old, who played 131 tests before retiring in 2007, wants test draws scrapped, adding a winner in each match could make the game more attractive to a younger audience. ‘‘I would like to maybe see results in every single test match,’’ he told the BBC. ‘‘Maybe find a way where you structure the game . . . and come up with some formula that can bring a winner at the end of it.’’
