SI have dry skin, so hydration is key fo for me.

The main issue I have is that I’ve never settled on a brand that I use consistently. Lately I’ve become really interested in making my own c concoctions – mixing up product to g get the desired texture I need. I find it really interesting – it’s a passion o of mine.

I’m sure I would enjoy facials if I had the time, but it always falls d down the list to just about never. It’s something I need to put in the diary, especially as I approach my 40s, I’m much more careful about my skin routine.

My next priority is to sort out some more permanent eyebrow solution.

My beauty secret is to pop some chilled teabags on the eyes for 10 minutes – totally gets rid of any puffiness! I’ve learnt over the years to not just accept my freckles but actually embrace and enjoy them, which is a relief as they don’t seem to be going anywhere.

I use MAC Mineralize foundation and enjoy some of their Prep + Prime products too, which I combine with the L’Oreal True Match Highlight Liquid Illuminator, to add radiance on required days.

L’Oreal Infallible Eye Paint in Immortal Black can be worn as an eyeliner or eyeshadow.

I can’t live without mascara. I have eyelashes but they are completely incognito without wearing any. My hair is curly and can look like a bad 90s perm if I’m not careful. I use Olaplex and just leave it in, I also use Davines All-in-one Milk.

I don’t use hot tools because my hair can be quite dry and prone to breakage, so I let it air dry and curl naturally whenever I can. A manicure and pedicure really finish a look and help me feel polished. Overall I really love to dress pretty darn casual so I like my nails to be sorted.

This winter I’ve been really feeling beiges, greys, nudes and the odd deep/dark tone to mix it up. I always have L’Occitane Amande hand cream in my bag for when my hands get a bit dry. I really don’t feel complete without perfume on. I’ve been in love with Tom Ford for a long time, the Noir Extreme is a really empowering scent that gives me an instant lift every time I put it on. We have moved into a house with a bit of a step-up 90s-ish spa bath and we love it. I make great bubble baths for the kids with it. When I have a bath it involves epsom bath salts, lavender oil a bit of coconut oil and a splash of natural body wash for the bubble effect.
