Homicide ruled out
Auckland police have ruled out homicide while investigating how a woman’s body came to be found on a Mt Roskill driveway in the dead of night. The 34-year-old’s body was found on a driveway used by industrial businesses and shops about 1.40am on Sunday. Detective Senior Sergeant Scott Armstrong said yesterday the woman’s death still remained a mystery. He said a post mortem examination was carried out on Monday. It ruled out homicide, but still did not provide a clear reason for the woman’s death. ‘‘The cause of death would not be determined until toxicology lab results were concluded. [These] are not expected for several weeks.’’
