PlayStation Classic’s lineup unveiled
The full lineup of games for Sony’s upcoming mini version of its original console has been revealed.
Previously five of the games had been unveiled when the console was initially announced.
Classic titles like Final Fantasy VII and Tekken 3, R4: Ridge Racer Type 4, Jumping Flash! and Wild Arms will be taking their places alongside iconic PS games like the first Grand Theft Auto, Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee, Twisted Metal and Metal Gear Solid.
It is Sony’s first retro console offering, and comes as its PlayStation 4 continues to dominate the gaming console market.
The original PlayStation made its debut in Japan in December 1994.
To date, Sony has sold about 82 million PS4s, according to gaming site VGChartz.
PlayStation Classic will have a virtual memory card to store your game saves.
The miniature console is about 45 per cent smaller than the original 1994 PlayStation and comes complete with two full-size controllers.
The PlayStation Classic will be released on December 3.
