❚ Kiwi songstress, Sharon O’Neill, is performing her Home Again II tour at The Boathouse with a seven-piece band tonight. Tickets $71.50 and available from www.premier.ticketek.co.nz

❚ Ali Harper’s Legendary Divas show is at the Theatre Royal tomorrow at 7.30pm. Harper honours strong singers, including Shirley Bassey, Dusty Springfiel­d, Judy Garland, Doris Day and Barbra Streisand. Expect nostalgia, comedy, audience participat­ion and many stories. ❚ The Nelson Suter Art Gallery is hosting an exhibition by Jan Thomson, HEartWORK, until February 24. Her pieces feature South Island landscapes; alpine valleys, passing weather and dramatic light.

❚ Nelson Musical Theatre presents The Best of Nelson Musical Theatre, a performanc­e which showcases past, present and future shows, including Les Miserables, Beauty and the Beast, and Grease, at the Nelson Musical Theatre on February 21, 22 and 23, 7.30pm. ❚ The Nelson Theatre Royal is holding its annual Open Day on February 23 between 10.30am and 1.30pm. Look behind the scenes in what is believed to be the oldest surviving operating wooden theatre in Australasi­a. Free entry.

❚ Kirby Fridays is on at Kirby Lane today and every second Friday until March 15. The inner city Nelson lane off Bridge St comes alive with food trucks and live music between 4pm and 10pm.

❚ Swedish Americana/Folk artist Sofia Talvik is stopping in at Motueka’s Toad Hall on February 15, 7.30pm. Likened to the sounds of Joni Mitchell she is accompanie­d by her acoustic guitar and the rhythm section consisting of her own two feet, bells and a stomp box. Entry is a door charge.

❚ Michelle A’Court and Jeremy Elwood are taking their comedy to The Playhouse Theatre in Mapua tonight. Dinner from 6pm and show at 8pm. Tickets $25, available from the Playhouse Theatre or Eventfinda.
