❚ The Original Gypsy Fair is on at the Richmond Park Showgrounds tomorrow and Sunday,

❚ The Nelson Suter Art Gallery is hosting an exhibition by Jan Thomson, HEartWORK, until Sunday. Her pieces feature South Island landscapes; alpine valleys, passing weather and dramatic light.

❚ Sally Barron’s, Daylight and the Dust exhibition is on at the Suter Gallery’s, McKee Gallery. The opening will be held on Tuesday, 5.30pm. The exhibition runs until March 14, open every day, 9.30am to 4.30pm.

❚ Nelson Musical Theatre presents The Best of Nelson Musical Theatre, a performance which showcases past, present and future shows, including Les Miserables, Beauty and the Beast and Grease. Look behind the scenes in what is believed to be the oldest surviving operating wooden theatre in Australasia. Get your stage make-up done in the dressing room, check out the props and dress up in one of their costumes. Free entry.
