■ The Quiet Dog Gallery, 33 Wakatu Lane, Nelson is hosting Nelson photographer Rob Dawson’s exhibition Collate – Photographic Journeys until February 22.
■ Jester House, Aporo Rd, Tasman is holding an art exhibition, Sending Love Project, during February – opening today, 5.30pm to 7pm. Mapua School pupils have created artworks that portray Sending Love and have been made into postcards to purchase and send a message of love around the world.
■ An exhibition featuring the Queens Gardens pond, Paintings of The Pond, is showing at The Shoe Shop, 275 Trafalgar St, Nelson from February 27 to March 9.
■ Wellington New Orleans-style band the Richter City Rebels are playing at the Mussel Inn, Onekaka tonight at 9pm ($10 on the door), and Nelson’s Fairfield House on February 3 at 7pm (tickets $20 from undertheradar.co.nz).

■ The NCMA Lunchtime Concerts are back on February 20, beginning with the 2021 Adam Troubadours, a group of New Zealand’s leading chamber musicians, at 1pm. ■ The Riverside Music Festival will be on February 16 from midday to 11pm at the Riverside Community, 289 Main Road, Lower Moutere. Dance, theatre, poetry, singing, magic, video, physical theatre, circus arts, a waterslide, art activities, games and pony rides. Bands playing include Rabbit Hole and Tillerman. All food and craft stalls will focus on products made from local resources.
■ The Trafalgar Street Market Day is bringing bargains, entertainment and fun to Nelson’s city centre tomorrow from 9am to 3pm. More than 85 stalls with clothes, food, arts, craft and more.
■ The Sarau Festival and Country Market is on at the Moutere Hills Community Centre on Sunday from 3pm to 9pm. Stalls, activities, entertainment, and a guest chef. Entry, adults $5, children free.
