Marchfest: The craft beer and music festival returns to Founders Heritage Park for its 16th year, celebratin­g up to 15 beers specially brewed for the event from the region and beyond and with a lineup of musicians featuring Christchur­ch favourites the Eastern, electro-pop siblings Brother Sister and DJ duo Sweet Mix Kids. Tomorrow, from 1p-m, tickets $45.

Big band and song at Māpua: Māpua Community Choir has teamed up with the Nelson Jazz Club Big Band to host a special evening of jazz tunes and songs of the 20th century.
