Suzuki introduces Ignis super compact SUV

Not quite smaller than a bread box, but it’s pretty small for an SUV. It has the same wheelbase as a Swift but is 150mm shorter overall whilst, being 85mm taller. The 180mm ground clearance matches the larger Vitara to give it some off-road street cred. The 1.2-litre engine delivers 66 kw and both manual and CVT auto transmissions are available. With the rear seats down you get 1100 litres of load space. Suzuki are confident of the Ignis’s appeal predicting 800 sales for 2017.
