Eat­ing reg­u­larly rather than di­et­ing helps with long-term weight man­age­ment, ac­cord­ing to a Univer­sity of Helsinki study. Women also raised their risk of gain­ing weight by giv­ing birth to two or more chil­dren, reg­u­larly con­sum­ing sweet­ened bev­er­ages and lack­ing con­tent­ment with life. For men, the ad­di­tional fac­tor in­creas­ing the risk of gain­ing weight was smok­ing, the study found.
