This week’s challenge invited readers to submit ideas for a new reality TV series. Paul Kelly of Palmerston North writes: Stackers: Couples travel to North Korea to load dishwashers competitively. The champions are granted a special meeting with the Supreme Leader and a one-year contract to load for Pyongyang’s elite. Poppy Sinclair, Karori: Divorced Within the Week sees the return of favourite couples from Married at First Sight. Participants give insights into their brief marriages and future plans. David Elworthy, Blenheim: The Shane Jones Roadshow: The Minister for Regional Economic Development tours the nation, scattering witty homilies and wild promises as he goes. Enjoy seeing his Cabinet colleagues and underlings scramble to obfuscate his statements following each visit. Barbara Harwood, Auckland: Survivor: War Zone: Contenders are parachuted into a foreign conflict and left to fend for themselves. Whoever reaches a UN safe area with the fewest injuries wins. But the winner is Kevin Stafford of Bunnythorpe: Hunting Freedom: Contestants search for sites befouled by freedom campers and do their best to tidy them. The grand finale will include a joint clean-up of a particularly unpleasant location. For the next contest, send us a brief poem including at any point these words by Henry David Thoreau: There it is, the treasure I seek. Entries, for the prize below, close at noon on Thursday, May 17.
