STREETS WELL TRAVELLED

It is a rare thing for writers to be brave enough to give a glimpse of their inner angst ( Travel, January 26).

Peter Elliott’s description of the backstreets of Sydney – the dust, the red, brown and tan colours – was evocative and brought back memories.
