GENES LEAVE THEIR MARK

Acne may have a genetic link, scientists at the UK National Institute for Health Research believe. The researchers examined 5000 people with severe acne and found their hair follicle formation and activity were influenced by genes. Eighty percent of people aged 11-30 suffer from acne and it is hoped the findings will lead to more improved treatment medications.
