Surroundin­g the core are Technical Competenci­es (knowledge and skills). Behaviours that marketers need to demonstrat­e to be effective form the outer layer.

Each individual competency has accompanyi­ng Proficienc­y Levels from 1 to 6, giving the ability to step marketers through the levels with Learning and Developmen­t.
