FIFTH YEAR ON TOUR LOOMS FOR HAREB

-

Paige Hareb secured a fifth year on the ASP World Tour in August after surfing to fifth place in the Nike US Open of Surfing held in California. Locked in equal tenth place with Rebecca Woods going into the event, Paige saw her good friend dumped out in the second round, breaking the deadlock before going on to surf through to the quarterfinals where she lost to 2011 World Champion and this year’s runnerup Carissa Moore. The result meant Paige held tenth place and qualified for next year’s tour. Paige then went on to place runner up at the WQS six-star Paul Mitchell Pro at Oceanside, California to elevate her to fourth on the WQS with three events remaining. Sarah Mason has finished her first year on tour in 13th equal and will not qualify for the 2013 World Tour.
