SCHOLASTICS

The National Scholastic Surfing Championships kick into action at the start of October. Twelve regional teams from throughout New Zealand will compete at the event to be held in the Taranaki Region. The Gisborne team will attempt to defend their title they won in Northland in 2011. The host Taranaki team will be eager to secure their first teams title after having competed at the event since it began in 1989.
