THE AUSSIE POP STAR SAYS SHE HAS NO REGRETS AFTER HER SAD SPLIT

Kylie on life, love and cheaters

Hindsight, according to Kylie Minogue, is an interesting beast. As she’s currently going through the aftermath of her split with former fiancé Joshua Sasse (29), it’s understandable the pint-sized pop star is in a somewhat pensive mood.

In an interview with an Australian newspaper, Kylie (48) says while the shock break-up, which she announced last month, has been challenging, she’s feeling just fine.

“I feel great, actually,” she tells. “It’s not been the easiest times of late, but that [the break-up] is a purely personal matter and I have no regrets. Life is about love and experience, and learning and evolving, and I am richer and thankful for all of the experiences in my life.”

However, the I Should Be So Lucky singer also admitted she wishes she’d trusted her gut a little more when it came to career and personal decisions, perhaps alluding to the rumours that Joshua, an actor who appears on US series Galavant, cheated on her.

“Hindsight is illuminating, but not always what we want to see. I certainly wished I hadn’t stressed quite as much or had such insecurity at times. I wish I had trusted my instincts on some occasions when I didn’t and I wish I had listened to better advice when I didn’t.”

Almost immediately after Kylie confirmed the split on her Instagram account, writing “Josh and I have decided to go our separate ways... we wish only the best for each other as we venture toward new horizons,” sources alleged she had found out about Joshua’s infidelities.

A friend claimed Kylie “no longer trusted” Joshua and that she was devastated by the split, though her friends and family, including sister Dannii, were thrilled.

“Since they met, we’ve all been concerned about what Joshua’s intentions were,” a pal reveals.

“We believe it all came down to a desperate attempt for stardom. He made sure to attend events on her arm – from the BRITs to the Absolutely Fabulous premiere – and appear with her on TV and stage at every opportunity.”

Kylie apparently had niggling doubts of Joshua’s loyalty for months – she was spotted looking forlorn and tearful in a Sydney hotel in November.

But it was during a trip to

Paris in January this year that Kylie’s suspicions were truly aroused, and a member of her inner circle told an Australian website that she “returned to London to confront him and she immediately asked him to leave her home, which he had moved into at the start of the relationship.”

Multiple sources insist the actor, who is the son of celebrated poet Dominic

Sasse, became very close with his No Tomorrow co-star, Spanish actress Marta Milans (34).
