HONOURING THE KING PROTEA, THIS PRETTY HANGING FLORAL ARRANGEMENT WILL BRIGHTEN ANY ROOM

1 Trim the leucadendron branches to a similar length and lay them down on your work surface.

2 Trim the stems of the king protea and add them on top of the leucadendron so that the heads lie in the middle of the branches when the stems are aligned.

3 Trim the amaranthus stems and add them on top of the grouping so the heads lie just below the king protea.

4 Tie the grouping with the ribbon, trimming the ends as necessary. Fan out the leucadendron slightly in the back, then hang the swag. Finish by tucking in the stems of freesia – one on the left and three on the right.
