This makes a great alternativ­e to sugary sports drinks. Adding the salt boosts electrolyt­es and replenishe­s the body after a strenuous workout.

4 cups filtered water

1 / cup hulled fresh or 2 canned cherries

1 / cup lemon juice 2

3 tbsp honey and ginger syrup

1 tsp Vitamin C powder

1 / tsp Himalayan salt 3

Place all ingredient­s into a blender. Mix well. Drink as is or serve over ice.
