BLACKCURRANT & BERRY COMPOTE

This compote is a boosting treat, perfect for adding to your morning muesli, stirring through yoghurt or as an ice cream topping.
400g organic mixed berries
(fresh or frozen)
4 tbsp honey and ginger
syrup (or more, to taste)
2 tsp Vitamin C powder
4 Lifestream Blackcurrant
capsules, opened
1 Add the organic mixed berries with the honey and ginger syrup to a saucepan on medium heat. When the berries have cooked down, remove the saucepan from the heat and cool to room temperature.
2 Once cool, stir through the vitamin C and blackcurrant powders (discard the empty capsules).
