WEEKLY CONVERSATION
Congratulations upon the
85th year anniversar y of New Zealand Woman’s Weekly. Magnificent! Future best wishes, from a 45-year contributor. My hear tfelt congratulations to the Weekly on its 85th anniversary. I’ve been a fond reader of the Weekly, starting from when I arrived from the Philippines to this beautiful country in 1984.
I first got hold of the magazine while browsing in a shop during my early days here, then I subscribed to it so I wouldn’t miss a copy.
Since then, the Weekly has been a part of my life. I have loved it so much, I’ve kept up with it and welcomed each new editor and the introduction of new things. I always acknowledge the good job and valuable contribution each editor has made to the Weekly during their stint editing our magazine.
Thanks to our current editor Alice O’Connell and the team for doing a good job making the magazine go from strength to strength, and continuing to be the magazine we all love. Long may you be the number-one magazine and the best in town. Keep up the good work! MA Weaver, Christchurch
