Everything had a shoulder pad in it during the ‘80s, from jackets to knitwear, and even some swimwear! Batwing sleeves, doublebreasted jackets, highwaisted jeans, wide belts and hemlines above the knee were all the rage.
Brows were bushy and so was the hair – accessorised by sun-bleaching sprays, crimping or perms. For eyes, blue eyeliner and mascara was the fashion, especially when worn with pink eyeshadow and shiny pink lips.
