This week’s model Claire shares her beauty secrets with us… What’s your biggest ever beauty blunder? Removing hair on my inner thighs with wax that was burning hot. It was a painful experience I’d rather not repeat!

What features have you had to learn to love? My less-than-pearly whites.

While I can’t say I love them, I have learnt to live with them. My natural enamel is quite yellow and I guess age, coffee and red wine doesn’t help. Although I have tried whitening treatments in the past, they quickly discolour again.

Your biggest beauty dilemma? Heavy thighs. I have always been pearshaped and have seriously considered liposuction, but just haven’t been able to justify the cost.

What beauty advice would you give to your 20-year- old self? Stop finding fault with yourself and celebrate what you’ve got. For me, I should of stopped complaining about my thighs and focused on the positive, such as a small waist. What’s your stance on grey hair? I love it and wish I’d stopped colouring my hair earlier than 10 years ago. I often think older women with dyed hair look like they have young hair, but their faces don’t quite match – and their complexion almost takes on a tired look. What’s your opinion on appearance medicine such as Botox and fillers? When I see a group of women together that have all had “work” done, I think they look so bizarre like something out of Madame Tussauds. I really like growing older and I don’t mind looking my age. In fact, I’m quite proud of my pensioner status!
