Nicki & Gordy Pye

Given their family tradition of summers by the beach, getting married at Lake Ferry, in Wairarapa, was a no-brainer for Nicki and Gordy Pye. The Masterton couple had been together for a year when Gordy proposed on New Year’s Eve in Taupo, surrounded by their loved ones. The relaxed pair said “I do” in stylish comfort, donning sneakers and shorts, and with family, friends and especially their five children − Jared, Ashlyn, Summer, Riley and Kyra − by their side. “I married my best mate,” says Nicki. “It was honestly the most amazing day ever.”
