Auckland couple Julie and Brian knew they had something special when they first met up at the Onehunga Library café, and Brian did things by the book when he went down on one knee to propose at Waitomo Caves in October 2016. The pair enjoyed a relaxed, family-oriented wedding at home in November last year. “Many friends helped us to make the day beautiful,” says Julie. “My daughters arranged a surprise band that set the mood in the garden wonderfully. Before the dinner, two tui landed in the middle of the celebration, which is a good luck sign I’m told.”
