Heidi’s got a new, younger man
Heidi Klum knows she’s 45 years old, but you don’t need to keep reminding her, thank you very much.
And anyway, for Heidi, age is nothing but a number – proven by the fact that nothing is slowing her down. The former Victoria’s Secret model is busier than ever, starring in two hit TV shows, America’s
Got Talent and her 16th season of Project Runway. She is also the creative director of her swimwear and lingerie lines, still models and on top of all this, is a mother of four children.
“I don’t think about getting older that much,” she says. “I mean, it’s happening, it’s happening to all of us. But it’s not like I wake up in the morning, look in the mirror and say, ‘Oh, my God!’”
Heidi is relishing being in love and not caring who knows it. But that doesn’t mean her relationship with her significantly younger beau isn’t raising eyebrows.
Heidi is no stranger to dating younger men. Her three-year relationship with art dealer Vito Schnabel, who was 14 years her junior, ended in 2017.
The new man in her life, however, appears to be making the model very happy. Heidi’s been posting loved-up shots with her boyfriend Tom Kaulitz (28), a member of the band Tokio Hotel, who is also a fellow German. And after first being linked in March, the romance seems to be going from strength to strength.
“Lately, I’m being reminded more about my age by people other than myself,” she says.
“My boyfriend is many years younger than me, and lots of people are questioning that and asking about it. That’s really the only time when age seems to be shoved in my face and I have to give an answer for it.”
But she wouldn’t have got where she is worrying about what other people think about her, she says.
“I don’t really think about it that much. You have to just live a happy life without worrying too much about what people think, because worrying is only going to give you more lines.”
And judging by Heidi’s ageless complexion, this beauty elixir appears to be worth adopting.
