What beauty products are on your Christmas wish list?

Mini beauty products! I’m heading overseas for a white Christmas this year and need to downsize all of my products to make for easier travelling. First on the list is some of the cute Little M. A.C. Lipsticks from Mecca Cosmetica.

Do you have any New Year beauty resolutions?

Yes, to wear a generously rimmed bucket hat over summer instead of my usual baseball cap, which really doesn’t give my face much protection from the sun at all.

What’s your preferred way to tan – faux or the real deal?

Fake all the way! At the moment I’m loving the World Organics Rejuvenate Self Tanning Cream. It goes on like a moisturiser and develops in a few hours. One application gives me the perfect colour.

Do you take any extra beauty steps to prepare for summer?

I’ve started using an exfoliating mitt in the shower, which is a wonderful skin smoother as well as the perfect way to make sure my self-tanner doesn’t grab on to any dry skin. I also tend to get a shellac gel pedicure and go a bit blonder with highlights in my hair.

What was your latest beauty purchase?

An Eye & Cheek Palette by NARS from Mecca Cosmetica. It has four beautiful eye shades, a bronzing powder and a highlighting blush with a hint of sparkle. I’m looking forward to using it throughout the party season.
