BABY BLUES BANNED!
Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, have not revealed whether they’re having a boy or a girl but, whatever the gender, they’re keen to raise their child as “gender-neutral”.
According to a source close to Meghan, this means they won’t be enforcing male or female stereotypes on their baby, who is due next month.
Meghan has told her pals that she and Harry have been talking about how they want to raise the baby.
“She said they plan to raise their child with a fluid approach to gender and they won’t be imposing any stereotypes,” says the insider.
This could mean anything from not choosing colours traditionally associated with boys and girls, through to avoiding gender-based toys, such as dolls for girls and train sets for boys.
With weeks to go before the birth and after a three-day tour to Morocco last month, Meghan is winding down her public engagements.
Following a star-studded baby shower in New York, attended by famous friends including Serena Williams and Amal Clooney, it’s expected there will be a second shower for her British friends and in-laws, possibly near the country home she and Harry rent in the Cotswolds.
According to some reports, the event may even be hosted by Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, and will be a lot less ostentatious than the US version, which is said to have cost a whopping $630,000, including private jet hire and luxury accommodation.
