Cindy’s kid trouble
The wrap up...
Supermodel Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber are “sick to their stomachs with worry” about their two children, Presley and Kaia Gerber, following months of wild behaviour.
According to pals, the pair’s immediate concern is son Presley (20), who last week shocked his family by debuting a prominent facial tattoo that reads “Misunderstood”.
“Cindy and Rande are hands-on parents, but there’s only so much they can do,” the family friend says, adding that the genetically blessed couple are “beside themselves with concern”.
Presley, who is also a model, has been making headlines for the wrong reasons since January 2019, when he was caught driving while intoxicated in Los Angeles.
Since then, his parents have tried to pry him away from what they deem to be the wrong crowd. “He’s been sent to a rehab-like programme in the past. Presley’s hanging out with a group of people who have been negatively impacting him,” the friend says.
A defiant Presley has taken to Instagram to defend his new ink, saying, “If I thought this was going to ruin my face or I didn’t want this, I wouldn’t have done it. I think it’s a pretty obvious thing… I don’t feel very understood, I guess.”
Meanwhile, Cindy and Rande are still trying to support daughter Kaia (18) after her messy break-up with Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson (26). As well as concerns over the age gap, fears were raised for Pete following an alleged breakdown at Kaia’s New York apartment last year, in which Rande tried to assist in sending him to rehab.
Rande (57) was overheard talking to his wife on the street by Kaia’s home, imitating Pete trying to “scratch out his eyes” and saying “he’s freaking out”, with a shocked Cindy (54) looking on.
“Cindy and Rande are relieved the relationship’s over,” a source says. “The comedian is focusing on getting his life back on track by working on his sobriety.”
